Sometimes, our best resources, or the discovery of those resources comes to us from one of our members or from a new patient who is in need of assistance from us.

It was brought to our attention through one of these calls that there can be different travel rules and regulations regarding medications and other issues that people with lupus and other chronic illnesses face when traveling out of the country.

So, our dedicated staff went to work to find the resources and information travelers need to make sure that they can bring and have access to their much needed medications when visiting abroad

The links in our new, traveling abroad with a chronic illness category of our resources page, is now filled with several links that will help answer your questions regarding how to travel with medications, what requirements each country has for carrying your medication, organizations like MedicAlert that can help you obtain medical care in another country and more.
