New in Advocacy News
Throughout the year the Lupus Alliance of America as well as all of our affiliates take part in various advocacy programs for Lupus. These programs include trips to Washington D.C. to speak to our government representatives in both the House and Senate, sometimes to advocate the general needs of those living with lupus, and other times to back, support, or introduce a new bill or piece of legislation we feel is of vital importance and help to people with lupus throughout the United States.
This page will help keep you up to date on what the Lupus Alliance of America is doing for you through both awareness and advocacy on the state and federal levels. We will include information and details on Advocacy Days that we attend, bills that affect those with lupus that we support and are actively fighting to pass, as well as general information on advocacy, government news and more that can affect lupus patients.
